The All Progressives Congress Appeal committee has postponed the party primary election for Osun West Senatorial district earlier scheduled to hold on Monday, June 12, 2017.
According to a statement made available to PMParrotng by the publicity secretary of APC in the state, Barr. Kunle Oyatomi, the primary election which is expected to produce the party’s candidate for the July 8 bye election to the senatorial district will now hold on Tuesday, June 13th, 2017.
He also said that the Abdullahi Bello led appeal committee has dismissed an appeal filed by an aspirant, Senator Mudashiru Hussein, who was disqualified by the Sanusi Rikiji led screening committee yesterday.
Hussein had on Sunday been disqualified by the screening committee, leaving the younger brother of the late Isiaka Adeleke, Ademola Adeleke as the sole aspirant.
