One of Oyo State’s 2019 gubernatorial hopefuls and philanthropist of note, Engr. Oluseyi Makinde has said that his effort just like that of every other person to become something in life depends on the will of God Almighty.

He disclosed this at the 4th Annual Ramadan Lecture organized by Omi Titun Mosque held at Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) premises, Ibadan with the topic “The Quiet Act of Benevolence; Islamic Perspective.”

Engr. Makinde expressed that since destiny of every individual is in the hands of God, what is the essence of challenging Him over a decision which ordinary individual has no control over.

He emphasized that the idea of the lecture is to promote Islamic activities just like the way he has been doing in Christianity, and also to let everybody aware that there is no reason whatsoever for religion discrimination since we all have Muslims and Christians in our various families.

Engr. Makinde appealed to his supporters and admirers in the state to always champion the course of Almighty God in their dealings.
