The Speaker of the Oyo State House Of Assembly, Hon Michael Adeyemo has congratulated Muslims on the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan fast wishing them a happy and healthy celebrations.
In his eid fitri message, the speaker enjoined Muslims to continue in their prayers describing eid fitri as an occasion to celebrate the values of Islam.
Hon Adeyemo who remarked that fasting is one of the normal religious sacrificial practices appealed to Nigerians to support leaders at all levels.
The speaker particularly used the occasion to commend Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State for the various projects on going in the state urging citizens to cooperate with the government and prepare to make sacrifices where necessary in the state government’s bid to return the state to its pace setting status.
Hon. Adeyemo who prayed for safe return of President Mohammed Buhari who is currently on medical vacation abroad also prayed for those currently performing lesser hajj.
