The Senator Representing Osun East, Senator Babajide Omoworare has charged Muslim faithfuls to sustain the ethics of Ramadan.
Omoworare who gave the charge in a statement by his media aide, Tunde Dairo rejoiced with Muslims on the successful completion of the 30-day Ramadan fasting, urging them to sustain the spirit of sacrifice, dedication, prayer, chastity and Godliness after the celebration.
He called on everyone to inculcate the lessons of Ramadan, put it to practice at all times to make humanity better for it.
He also called for continuous prayer for unity, prosperity and peace in Nigeria.
In his words, “the Holy month of Ramadan has come and gone, we must not allow the lessons and Godly living to go with it. It is important that the closeness to God which has been cultivated is sustained at all times.”
