Social Orientation & Safety Corps: Ogun House Holds Stakeholders’ Forum

In its bid to ensure effective and sustained security network for the protection of lives and properties of the people through effective legislations, the Ogun State House of Assembly will on Wednesday, 5th of July, 2017 hold a Stakeholders’ Forum on “H.B. No. 016/OG/2017- The Ogun State Community Social Orientation And Safety Corps (So Safe Corps) Agency Law, 2017”.

A release signed by the Clerk of the State House of Assembly, Engr. Lanre Bisiriyu stated that the stakeholders’ forum “is meant to harness input of relevant stakeholders towards the creation of the corps to restructure the Vigilante Service in the State with a view to curtailing crimes and criminality in communities across the State”.

According to the release, the forum would take place at the Assembly Complex, Oke- Mosan, Abeokuta at 10:00am prompt, while it also enjoined all invited stakeholders to be seated at 9.30 am.
