The people of Osun West Senatorial district have been trooping out to decide who will represent them at the upper chamber of the National Assembly and the exercise has been peaceful so far.

PMParrot reporter on ground sent in information that as early as 8:00 a.m electorates came out in large number in Ede local government area of the state.

The Independent National Electoral Commission were at the polling units and materials ready as the accreditation and voting were going on simultaneously at the various wards and units in the local government.

The People Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Otunba Ademola Adeleke, voted at 8:34 am at ward 2,unit 9, Saagba Abogunde compound, Ede North.

Ademola Adeleke expressed confidence of replacing his late brother, Senator Isiaka Adeleke in the Senate.

According to him, voters in Ede, his country home turned out enmasse to cast their ballots stressing that he would win his opponent, Mudashiru Hussein, who is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the bye-election.

He said “I am 100 percent confident of victory. As you can see, it rained this morning before the voting exercise commenced. This is a signal to the fact that I will carry the day. With this large turnout also, it is unarguable that I will beat Hussein hands down by God’s grace,” he maintained.
