Ogun State House of Assembly has acknowledged the receipt of Governor Ibikunle Amosun’s letter seeking the approval of the Assembly to appoint Mr Adeleke Michael and Alhaji Mojeed Ekelojumati to the State Civil Service Commission in replacement of two members of the Commission whose tenure of office has expired.

In the Governor’s letter dated 23rd of June, 2017, read at the plenary by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Suraju Ishola Adekunbi, Amosun explained that the Assembly’s approval was in compliance with the constitution and to forestall any impediment in the Commissions’ effectiveness.

The Speaker thereafter directed the nominees to appear before the Committee of the Whole House on Tuesday, 18th of July, 2017 by 9am with thirty copies each of their Credentials and Curriculum Vitae.

In the same vein, Adekunbi during the plenary announced that the Stakeholders’ Forum on a bill titled: “HB No. 09/OG/2016- Ogun State Animal Grazing Regulation and Cattle Ranch Establishment Law, 2016,” would hold on Wednesday, 19th of July, 2017 at 10 a.m. prompt at the Assembly Complex, Oke- Mosan, Abeokuta.
