South African Premier Soccer League team, Orlando Pirates have improved their strike force ahead of the coming season by ‘capturing’ Nigerian international striker, Christian Obiozor.
The financial terms and duration of contract agreed with the 22-year-old, who was linked with Mamelodi Sundowns earlier this year, were not disclosed by the Johannesburg based side.
Despite his age, the towering striker, who joined from Enyimba International, has international experience having turned out for the Super Eagles in the 2014 African Nations Championship.
He scored a late winner in the 3rd place play-off of the competition hosted in South Africa as Nigeria won bronze against Zimbabwe.
Obiozor will link up with James Okwuosa and goalkeeper Emmanuel Daniel at the Buccaneers.
