Ibadan Based Multi-Million Naira Entertainment Outfit, DKM Media recently announced the official Management of the talented Afro-calypso singer, Gabriel Olumuyiwa Olajide popularly known as M-Gabriel to the company as one of its Artists.
In the statement made available to PMParrot through the Chairman of the award winning Ibadan based Cinematography and Multi-Media Company (DKM MEDIA), Prince ‘Kanmi Adeyemo the company said its decision to venture into artists’ management is to create chances for many upcoming Artists who might have been finding it difficult to promote themselves as entertainment of the day has to do with a lot of capital investments.
Said Adeyemo, an Ibadan Prince: “Apart from this, music is life and life is really worth to live for those who believe in it. Let me also use this chance to inform the general public that we are not just signing/managing artists alone, but we have also assembled sets of instrumentalists together in order to form DKM Jazz band which happens to be the first of its kind from any Records label in the city.
“DKM Media has been doing lots of community support in Ibadan from inception, we were partners at the recent 9th Splash Integrity Marathon Race organised by the first indendent radio in the city(SPLASH FM) just to mention a few. DKM Media has been so supportive to the dream of many young talents and Corporate Organizations within and outside the state. We’ve seen this as part of our social responsibilities to our society and we will extend the gesture, by signing Artists to our Record label and continue to partner with every reasonable project presented to our company”.
The Ondo State born M-Gabriel in his chat with PMParrot said, “getting a management deal with the company is a dream come true, I am really loving being part of this family.
“I would have joined their label since December 2015, but I was on contract with RGD RECORDS, so I had to wait till my contract expired before I jumped at this opportunity. Thank God I am here and I believe my fans will see more of me here, as am ready to come up with different styles, my first official single under DKM records (IGBORO) will be dropping soon.
