On the 2017/2018 UTME Admissions: Some unauthorized news and/or rumours have been circulating on the social media lately, especially over the past four days, on the modalities that the University of Ibadan would adopt for the 2017/2018 UTME Admission Exercise.

Kindly ignore such information. A meeting of the Senate would be convened in due course to make a decision on this matter, based on appropriate recommendations from the Senate Admissions Committee and the Committee of Provost, Deans and Directors.

A formal announcement would be made thereafter on the modalities to be adopted in Screening those candidates who must have chosen the University of Ibadan for admission.

You may wish to advise your children, wards, other parents, guardians and other interested parties accordingly. Thank you.

Professor Idowu Olayinka
