The ancient city of Abeokuta was agog as Ogun State top socialite, Mr. Dayo Niyi Idowu was installed as the new President of Rotary Club Abeokuta Metropolitan District 9110.
The high class ceremony, which was witness by other socialites, Captains of Industries, Entertainers, CEOs and more from all walks of life, was held at H3 Event centre, Oke-Imosan Abeokuta recently where Wole-Papa, Taye Elese Meta thrilled the guests with their high class Juju music.
The event also witnessed the induction rites of Mr Usman Ojelabi, Mrs Toyin Adebanjo, Mr Olujimi Olugbenga, Mr Taiwo Oluwaseun as new Rotarians.
The official ceremony ended with the President’s media chat where he emphasized on life touching projects that his office will execute like water projects and sanitized toilets for primary schools as well as Kuto garage in Abeokuta metropolis.
The new president in his inauguration speech said that governments cannot do all but an organization like Rotary is standing firm in partnering with Canadian and Swiss Embassy in executing local and International Star Projects.
DNI the Pacesetter President as he is fondly called also implored Rotarians, friends and well wisher, including well meaning dignitaries in the society to support the laudable projects launched by his office.
