The 1977-1982 set of old boys from Lagelu Grammar School, Ibadan have concluded plans to hold their reunion on Saturday, September 30, 2017 in the capital city of Oyo State.
In a chat with PMParrot, the Chairman of the Association’s Steering Committee, Mr Sunday Amoo disclosed that the programme will start by 10am, at Pristine Guest Place, Alalubosa GRA, Ibadan.
He said the event will feature a “Health Talk”, by Dr. Kayode Afolabi, a former Commissioner for Health in Oyo State, who is also a member of the association. Among other programmes, the event will also feature a presentation by Agriculture in Nigeria (AIN) Group.
While speaking on the same reunion, Olayinka Agboola, the Publisher of Parrot Xtra Magazine/PMParrot who is also the Publicity Secretary of the Association said “we are reuniting officially for the first time since we left school in 1982. We thank God for His mercy and for uplifting us.
“We have enjoyed divine grace and this has made our set to become one of the most vibrant. The reunion is going to be attended by our classmates from America and Europe. Those in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ilorin and other states in Nigeria will also attend by God’s grace”.
