When a journey starts, it is with enthusiasm and anxiety that the sojourner carries out this assignment.
Our journalistic trip at PM Parrot (Evening Newspaper) and Parrot Xtra Magazine, which started 13 years ago has had its own anxious and exciting moments. However, we shall always continue to give all the glory to God.
Many of our friends and admirers out there perhaps need to know too that we have had our own share of ‘roller coasting’ experiences that took us to the defunct Fame Weekly Magazine, Ovation International Magazine, Eko FM Radio Station and Thisday Newspaper – all in Lagos. We also survived turbulent and interesting days at the defunct Daily Sketch Newspaper and Nigerian Tribune – over the past 28 years. We still must thank God for His Mercies.
Yes, we are 13, but we know the onerous tasks ahead are still intimidating. But we are undaunted. We are determined to continue giving out our best.
It is also very important that we appreciate our friends and supporters both in Nigeria and beyond. Hassan Taiwo Fatungase, Akinola Adelegan, Dr Dayo Olomu, Kunle Onime, Steve Ayorinde, King Sunny Ade, Clement Ige, Sir Tunji Alapini, Gani Kayode Balogun – you must all stand up to take a bow. You have been great!
Can we forget Senator Abiola Ajimobi, Semiu Adenekan (DJ Semight), Professor Taoreed Adedoja, Pastor & Mrs Adewale Adepoju, Tunji Lam-Adesina, Femi Babalola (Jogor), Sola Adegbola, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, Wale Ojo-Lanre, Barrister Akeem Agbaje, Dr Adesina Adegunle, Olumide Oludare, Olajide Adesina, Mrs Foluke ‘Victory’ Abeje, Seye Oyeleye, Deacon Femi Adesina, Wole Arisekola, Professor Adeolu Akande, Olabode Opeseitan, Adesina Olajide,Alhaji Bashiru Akande and all of you out there that God has used and is still using to keep us in business? No. We thank you all.
