The family of the leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu which was recently bereaved is still receiving condolence messages. The latest one is coming from a curiously symbolic section of Nigeria.

Dear reader, do not mind our Parrots, they have a way of getting their pieces of information. Or how else can one describe this message they are sending from Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State to the Ikoyi, Lagos home of the Asiwaju?

How many people out there know that the wife of the Jagaban, Senator Oluremi Tinubu’s maiden name was Oluremi Ikusebiala?

Well, for those who do not, Parrots can confirm that Oluremi grew up somewhere around College Crescent, Oke Ado, Ibadan.

According to Parrots’ sniffing, Oluremi, an Ijebu lady used to live with her parents at their residence not too far from St Anne’s Church, Molete.

Anyway, the gist here is that some of her friends have complained that they have not been able to reach her. They are more concerned these days because they are desirous of commiserating with her over the loss of Jide Tinubu who died recently.

Moreover, her fellow brethren at the elitist St Anne’s Church Molete have also expressed their heartfelt condolences. One of them who spoke with Parrots submitted that plans are on to send a delegation to Senator Oluremi.

And to think that her name used to be Ikusebiala (which means ‘death is like dream’) is more symbolic because of the tragic loss of the young man in the Tinubu clan.

So, that is the message for the Senator wife of Tinubu, a two-term governor of Lagos State. We hope we have not ‘spilled’ anything here…
