Despite the ‘I don’t care’ posture of President Muhammadu Buhari over the resignation of Ex-Vice President Atiku Abubakar from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), it seems as if some kind of ‘re-engineering’ is about to take place in both the government and APC.

Signs that this is going to happen as soon as possible manifested when the name of the leader of APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was included in those to accompany Buhari on his current trip to Abidjan where he is billed to participate in the 5th EU-AU Summit.

Presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina also shared the picture of Buhari and Tinubu including some state governors in the Presidential jet as they departed Abuja.

A political observer who spoke with PMParrot noted that this is a good development because “they now know and realize that there is need for them to get closer to plot ahead. 2019 is just round the corner.”

A presidency source, however, told PMParrot that there really is no big deal in the inclusion of Tinubu’s name in the list of the people that travelled with President Buhari.

“It depends on the assignments to carry out at the country of destination. Asiwaju Tinubu is a member of the family. So there is no special attatchement to his joining the Abidjan train”, said our insider source.
