She added that the approval to observe the Jumat will be an avenue to allow Muslim sons and daughters of families and every Muslim umah living or trading around Idikan and environs to contribute to the propagation of Islam.

Ambassador Ayinde, the Proprietress at Kayrom Lee Gym and Fitness Centre, Obafemi Awolowo Stadium urged the committee in charge of the mosque not to rest on their oars by ensuring that the Jumat service approval translates to development of the mosque and environment in general.

Ambassador Ayinde, who is also a Principal partner of Ministry of Youths and Sports, Zone 1 implored all Muslim Umah to contribute their quota towards  changing the face of the mosque to meet up with standards.

Also in his contribution, Chairman of the Committe in charge of the mosque, Chief Lateef Adesolan Gbedemuke expressed his happiness for the Jumat service, saying that it was as a result of help from God with support from people that made it possible.

He stated that the committee in charge of the mosque is working and will continue to work to ensure necessary things that will allow hitch-free Jumat prayer are put in place.

The Chief Imam of the mosque, Alhaji Tajudeen Ayilara commended the Chief Imam of Ibadanland for the gesture, despite the fact that the agitation for the approval for the Jumat service had been pegged for a long time.

He thanked and prayed for everyone who, in one way or the other contributed to the success of the struggle.
