As Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun marked his 60th birthday on Thursday, members of the State House of Assembly have eulogized him for transforming the State to an investment destination of choice, saying as a selfless leader, astute politician and seasoned administrator, he had revolutionized governance in the gateway state.
The members spoke at the plenary presided over by Speaker Suraju Ishola Adekunbi, where he took the lead in showering encomiums on the governor on the occasion of the governor’s diamond anniversary, pointing out that Amosun had since assumption of office in 2011, evolved more legacy programmes and policies which had brought about even development in all parts of the State.
Adekunbi while commending the governor for putting in place enabling environment for the sustainability of mutual interdependence between all arms of government; explaining that such democratic ideal had aided good governance in the State.
Other Honourable members who spoke at the plenary included Honourables Yetunde Sogbein-Adekanbi, Jimi Otukoya, Rasaq Oduntan, Adebowale Ojuri, Ganiyu Oyedeji and Adeyemi Harrison, extolled Amosun’s leadership style in piloting the affairs of the State through selfless service, which they noted had resulted in the advancement of socio-economic sectors in the State.
Also, the Deputy Speaker, Olakunle Oluomo, Honourables Akinpelu Aina, Victor Fasanya and Jemili Akingbade explained that governor Amosun had written his name in the sand of time as an achiever who had laid a solid foundation of excellence through the rebuilding mission of the current administration.
In their goodwill message, the Minority Leader, Olawale Alausa, Adeyinka Mafe and Olayiwola Ojodu remarked that the celebrant had been necessary resources towards achieving quality service in the delivery of democratic dividends to the people of the State.
