The Community Development Areas (CDA) of Adeyemo, Osungbade, Molete, Eyin Grammar, Yejide, Kudeti and other adjoining communities and Yerokun have benefited from the Community Support Scheme of an Oyo State member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Adedapo Lam Adesina.

The Community Support Scheme which was designed by the Rep member who represents Ibadan North East/South East federal constituency, is to assist communities within his constituency to combat various challenges facing them.

Omo Oloore, in his philanthropic gesture donated a sum of N500,000.00 to the community comprising of Adeyemo, Osungbade, Eyin Grammar, Molete, Yejide, Kudeti and other adjoining landlord association, as part of his contribution towards building a police station within the area.

He made the donation at the foundation laying ceremony of the police station embarked upon by the communities. Hon. Adesina stated that the donation of N500,000.00 to the communities was part of his contribution towards ensuring security of lives and properties within his constituency, and also as a response to the request of the concerned communities.

Those present at the event included Chairman of CDC in Ibadan South East, Alhaji Abdulfatai Oloyede, Rev. P.F. Owa, representatives of Engr. Seyi Makinde, Chief Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli and other community leaders.

In another development, the people of Yerokun Community have also benefitted from the Omo Oloore Community Support Scheme when he donated a sum of N250,000.00 to the community.

The donation was made when the community organized their annual carnival for the celebration of 2017 Christmas festival.

Also the Omo Oloore Community Support Scheme was extended to Irenitiwa Community comprising of Orita-Aperin, Adekile and other adjoining landlord associations. They received a sum of N200,000.00 to support the community in the rehabilitation of their transformer and power transmission system which is faulty and has put the community in darkness for months.

It is worthy of note that last year, Omo Oloore also assisted Ode-Aje Community by donating new transformer to restore power supply back to the community which had been in total darkness for six years.
