Development Initiatives: Amosun Lauded By Ogun Assembly’s Minority Leader

Hon. Olawale Alausa, the Minority Leader of the Ogun State House of Assembly has lauded the Senator Ibikunle Amosun led- administration for rehabilitating  the Adeola Odetola road in his Ijebu-Ode State constituency, just as he appealed for the rehabilitation of more roads in the area.

Alausa who, spoke under Personal Explanation at the plenary presided over by Speaker Suraju Ishola Adekunbi applauded the present administration’s infrastructural drive, especially road construction and rehabilitation,  stressing that massive investment in infrastructural development had improved on the socio-economic development of the State.

He equally requested for rehabilitation of the Ijagun/ Odogbolu road to ease human and vehicular movements.

On her part a member representing Yewa South State Constituency,  Hon. Julianah Akintayo sought for an immediate  rehabilitation of Owode Yewa-Ilaro road which according to her links major towns and cities in the State to the border area.

Akintayo said the rehabilitation of the road before the rainy season would go a long way in boosting the economic status of the people of the area.

Responding, the Speaker assured that the present administration was irrivocably committed to the development of all parts of the State to attract more business investments, assuring that the infrastructural development train would soon be extended to othet parts of the State.

 Also, the Assembly has felicitated with Alhaji Abidoye Amosun on the occasion of his 70th birthday celebration describing him as a worthy elder Stateman, whose fatherly contributions to governance in the State had led to the successes of the rebuilding mission.

In another development,  members of the Assembly also observed a minute silence in honour the late Chairman of  Afon Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Micheal Ogunesan extolling his virtues as a true progressive democrat.

Speaker Adekunbi,  described his demise as a great loss to his community, the LCDA, Ogun West Senatorial District, the State Chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and the entire State, shortly after his Deputy Hon Olakunle Oluomo, who spoke under Personal Explanation  recalled the exemplary leadership style of the deceased politician.
