Buhari Urged To Consider Obasanjo’s Letter As ‘A Serious Matter’

It has been asserted that the open letter written by former President Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo to President Muhammadu Buhari is a message of reality that portrays the situation of Nigeria.

Making the assertion in Ibadan, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman in Ona Ara Local Government, Honourable Mosobalaje Bakare said the letter contains facts and realities of the ongoing situation in the Country.

He stressed that Ex-President Obasanjo in writing the letter did not want things to become worse as it was during the tenure of the former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and he did not want a repeat of what transpired between him and the Jonathan administration.

He said, Obasanjo as at then supported Buhari to ensure that Jonathan was voted out of office because of his uncompromising attitude.

Hon. Bakare, opined that the letter written by Baba Obasanjo is credible and in good faith for the nation to move forward as well as guaranteeing progress and survival of the country.

Condemning the reaction of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and Buhari spokesman as false and unacceptable excuses, the Ona Ara politician said Lai Muhammed’s response did not contain any fact but excuses to defend his boss, he concluded that a thief will never see himself as being guilty.

While speaking on the chances of his party (PDP) in the next general election, the PDP local boss said with the coming together of both fresh PDP and the authentic PDP in the Country, the chances of his party is bright and the party is ready for election any day.

He stressed that President Muhammadu Buhari himself is afraid of Atiku/ Fayose ticket, if they get the mandate of the party because Buhari himself is aware that Nigerians are tired of his administration.

Comrade Bakare obliged that, President Muhammadu Buhari is aware that Nigerians are suffering as a result of his administration’s approach to the management of the economy of the nation as well as the welfare of the people.
