As the governorship election in Osun State approaches, another governorship aspirant has come out to express his interest and this person is a former Commissioner and Caretaker Chairman for Ede North Local Government, Mr. Tunde Kazeem Adewinmbi.
He announced his interest recently during an encounter with newsmen when he announced that come September, 2018, he would be one of those to contest to become the new governor of Osun State.
Hon. Hon.Tunde Kazeem Adewinmbi, a post graduate holder in Financial Management from the Middlesex University, U.K will be seeking to run as a candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Hon.Tunde Kazeem Adewinmbi said “After wide consultation with some influential stakeholders of the party in the state, I have decided to run for governorship. I will be declaring my intention to run soon when my party officially allows me to declare my intention.
“I am not happy with the present condition of my people and state. Poverty here and there, insecurity everywhere, poor infrastructural facilities, outdated and poor medical facilities in government hospitals- I have a lot to say but I’ll wait till the day of my declaration. Every citizen of my state deserve a better government than what they currently have.” Hon.Tunde Kazeem Adewinmbi added.
