As this year’s lovers’ day was being celebrated across the world, a wellness expert, Ambassador Romoke Ayinde has emphasized the importance of social interaction as key component in achieving a healthy life, enjoining Nigerians not to foreclose the social aspects of their lives.

Ambbasador Ayinde who is a principal partner to Ministry of Youths and Sports Development, South/West zone made the call while delivering a lecture at Kayrom Lee Fitness and Gym Center, Obafemi Awolowo Stadium, Ibadan as part of activities marking 2018 Valentine’s Day celebration.

She took her time to give some important tips on how to live a healthy and stress-free life in order to avoid unwanted ailments that might have serious negative impact on one’s health describing social interactions as a way of freeing the mind of pertinent troubles that are capable of increasing body pressure.

The winners among the participants and couples that took part in dance aerobics, games and different body workout activities were awarded with mouthwatering gift items such as sauna bath accessories, while some aged people that participated were also celebrated for keeping a healthy life style.

“We need to understand that life is a challenge and the best way to overcome it is to choose happiness over anything and to always imbibe the spirit of sportsmanship, the role of sports in our society cannot be under estimated, sport is life and to live a sound life, one needs to engage the body actively.

“Apart from keeping fit, one needs not to worry about the situation of our country as much news around us is worrisome and in order not to develop high blood pressure, we always need to relax our minds by doing what we love to do best”, Ayinde noted.
