AFCON U20 Qualifiers: Aigbogun Invites 3 CHAN Eagles, 25 Others To Camp

Newly appointed Flying Eagles coach, Paul Aigbogun has invited 28 players to camp as the seven time African champions begin preparations for the qualifying series for 2019 Africa U20 Cup of Nations.

Three home-based Super Eagles players including Enyimba FC’s Ikouwem Udoh, who won the Young Player of the Year award at this week’s AITEO-NFF Football Awards, with team mates Peter Eneji and Nur Muhammed were among.

Aigbogun also called up Nasarawa United’s Douglas Achiv, Akwa United’s Adesina Gata, MFM FC’s goalkeeper Ospino Egbe and Kano Pillars duo of Nazifi Yahaya and Alhassan Ibrahim according to a statement from the media department of the Nigeria Football Federation.

The list of invited players was contained in a press release by the NFF.

All invited players are to arrive at the Serob Legacy Hotel, Wuye, Abuja between Sunday, 25th February and Monday, 26th February, with their international passports, birth certificates and training kits.

The 2019 Africa U20 Cup of Nations will be staged in Niger Republic.
