Professor Adeolu Akande, a frontline gubernatorial aspirant in the All Progressives  Congress (APC) in Oyo State has commiserated with the people of Oke Ogun and the State on the death of Architect Niyi Kehinde who passed on at the weekend.

Prof Akande said the death of Arch Kehinde was sudden and shocking.

“It came as i shock to me because we had a fruitful telephone conversation on the development of Oke Ogun and Oyo State about five days to his death.

“I have known of him for a long time but only met him months back during my consultation on the gubernatorial contest in Oyo State come 2019.

“He had requested me to discuss my vision with him and his bossom friend who was present at his Abuja residence. It was evident that as much as he wished for a governor of Oke Ogun stock, he would rather be comfortable with a governor of sound mind and clear vision”

Arch Kehinde will go down in history as one of the prime drivers of the development of Oke Ogun. He was part of every initiative to establish an umbrella body devoted to the development of Oke Ogun crystalising in the formation of the Oke Ogun Development Cinsultative Forum(ODCF). He served meritoriously as Chairman of the Abuja chapter of the Forum.

Arch Kehinde  also had a distinguished career as a federal civil servant and the history of the physical development of the Federal Capital Terditory will not be complete without copious reference to the diligence, sacrifice and excellence of officials like Arch Kehinde.

“He would be missed as a peace maker in every organisation blessed to have him as a member. His forthrighness and sense of fairness in all the organisations would also be missed

“I pray that God grants his good soul eternal rest and his noble family, the people of Ado Awaye, his home town  and the people of Oke Ogun and the ODCF  the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss that  occasions his death”
