A ‘Tungba’ Gospel crooner, Oyetunde Oyekemi-Olaseinde, popularly known as Kemi Star, has concluded plans to release another album after a decade of wining souls for Christ.
The graduate of Public Administration of the University of Ado-Ekiti in a chat with PMParrot said she waxed her first album ‘Virtuous Woman’ in 2008, thereafter saddling herself with soul winning job for Christ by singing at crusades and revivals in different churches.
The Ede, Osun State born social gospel singer who also sings in social parties, has revealed that works on her new album titled ‘Ife Dara’ (love Is Good) has reached a final stage and would be launched any time from now.
“I give thanks and praises to God for giving me this opportunity and inspiration to record another album, it took me this while because I concentrated on singing in churches to win souls for Christ which has been giving me joy and fulfillment than entering studio often to record albums.
“I sing to praise God to win souls for Christ and make people who are moody come out of their sadness, you know the situation we are in Nigeria can make people to contemplate suicide, but with my soothing gospel songs, such people will know that, there is hope and God can still do it”, Kemi Star reiterated.
