As the collation processes are being concluded to determine who gets the flag of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, there are indications that the ex-governor of the state and Minister of Solid Minerals, Dr Kayode Fayemi is the winner.
PMParrot gathered that the former governor has garnered over 842 votes with his closest rival and another ex-Ekiti Governor, Chief Segun Oni grabbing less than 500 votes.
Other candidates with lesser votes include Kayode Ojo, Oluyede Oluwole, Gbenga Aluko, Bimbo Daramola, Muyiwa Olumilua, Yaya Kolade, Opeyemi Bamidele and others
The chairman of the Electoral Panel overseeing the exercise, Governor Tanko Al-Makura had earlier in the reaffirmed his panel’s resolve to ensure that whoever emerges would do so under a free and fair atmosphere.
