Ramadan: Aare Latosa Ibadan Council Boss Salutes Muslims

The Executive Chairman, Aare Latosa Local Council Development Areas, Samonda, Ibadan, Bashorun Adekunle Oladeji, Omo BAO has felicitated with Muslims in the Council Area on the occasion of this year’s Ramadan.

In a statement made available to PMParrot, Bashorun Oladeji said he wished Muslims a peaceful and blessed Ramadan.

His words “On behalf of the Council, I offer best wishes to Muslims in Aare Latosa LCDA for a peaceful and blessed Ramadan.

“For those observing this holy month, it is a time of reverence, generosity and spiritual cleansing.

“Ramadan is also a cherished time for sober reflection and time to be more connected with Almighty Allah. Ramadan is a period when Muslims come together to give charitably to the less privileged in the society.

“Muslims in Aare Latosa LCDA as a matter of importance, should make valuable contributions to their environment as millions will honour this month in a special way with acts of service and sharing with their neighbours.

“Ramadan period should bring together Muslims and people of other faiths with commitment to sharing goal of fostering peace, unity, stability, development and prosperity in the Council and State in general.

“I enjoin residents of the Council to build stronger Society through partnerships and respect for diversity.

“As the holy month begins, I wish all those who are fasting a very happy and prosperous time”.
