The decision of President Muhammadu Buhari to honour late Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola and others who were connected with the struggle for the actualization of June 12, 1993 presidential election has been hailed by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State.
While reacting through his Chief Press Secretary, Habib Aruna, Ambode described the development as “a historic and symbolic moment in the nation’s political trajectory.”
