An Osun industrialist and Chief Executive Officer of Yinka Oba Foams Nigeria Limited, Dr Eunice Olayinka Obaleye (MON), has lauded the administration of Governor Rauf Aregbesola for providing businesses the conducive atmosphere to succeed.
The octogenarian business woman commended Governor Aregbesola for the tremendous achievements recorded in the last seven and half years, describing the feat as unprecedented in the history of the state since creation.
Dr Obaleye made the statement while hosting the Governor and his entourage who were on a congratulatory visit to her residence in Ilesa, on the celebration of her 80th birthday.
She gave Aregbesola pass mark in all sectors, saying his administration has lifted Osun from the shackles of retrogression.
Obaleye held that Osun has set the pace for her counterparts in human, capital and infrastructural developments.
Applauding the Governor for building an enabling business atmosphere for investors to thrive in the state, Dr Obaleye acknowledged the state for putting in place business-friendly policies.
She said the present administration has opened windows of opportunities for all to survive with the implementation of its pro-masses policies, actions and programmes.
In her words, “As for me, our governor has trailed the blaze and as well as set the pace for others to follow, considering the positive impact the government has made in the lives of the citizenry.
“The state has provided the citizens, particularly business men and women, the conducive atmosphere to succeed, a feat that no one has made since the creation of the state.
“We have never had it so good like this before. Many have governed the state since its creation and as a matter of fact, none of them did the average of what God has used Governor Aregbesola to do.
“‎There is no doubting the fact that Governor Aregbesola has taken our collective dreams as citizens to fruition, he has refined and redefined our history for better as we can see in all his good works across sectors”, she added.
In his remarks, the Governor of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, commended Dr Obaleye for contributing to the state’s economy through her huge investment.
Aregbesola described the business tycoon as a great entrepreneur whose economic impact has affected positively the lives of the people in the state.
Governor Aregbesola said the visit was to congratulate and identify with the celebrator for joining the rare class of octogenarians in her lifetime.
“We are here to celebrate with the family of Mrs Obaleye for her enormous contribution to socioeconomic and commercial activities in the state with which had brought about massive employment opportunities for the teeming Osun indigenes.
“The celebrator has demonstrated high sense of commitment to the economic renaissance in the state, hence the need for personal visit with which we have honoured her today.
“There is no doubting the fact that a woman of substance epitomised by Dr. Obaleye is rare because not everyone that is rich knows that he or she needs to invest in his or her state as being done by the celebrator”, Aregbesola stressed.
