A former member of House of Representatives representing Egbeda Ona/ Ara federal constituency in Oyo State, Hon. Busari Olayemi has lost his wife, Oluwakemi.
She was said to have died early Saturday morning in her sleep.
Hon. Olayemi was a member Federal House of Representatives that represented Egbeda/Ona Ara between 2011 and 2015 under the Accord platform.
According to the bereaved husband who is still in shock over his wife’s demise, “she was hale and hearty this morning when I was going for our landlords’ meeting and left her with her twin children.
“When I returned from the landlords’ meeting, I sent one of her twin children to fetch her for me only to meet her lifeless. In fact, I still find it difficult to believe.”
“She was the one that went to pick her twins from the school yesterday. When they returned, she drove them around the estate for some time before they came home. She even celebrated the birthday of her first child yesterday. I wonder what could have caused this untimely death.”Hon. Olayemi lamented.
Late Mrs Oluwakemi Olayemi who was in her late 50s left five children, husband and aged parents behind.
Among the early callers to sympathize with her husband were the Minister of Communication, Barrister Adebayo Shittu, Minority Leader, Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Ademola Akeem Ige, former Commissioner for Environment in Oyo State, Mr Aborode and others.
