Towards realizing the dream of returning the lost glory of the first clubside in Nigeria to win a continental laurel and make it self-reliance, the leadership of Shooting Stars Sports Club’s supporters’ club has initiated moves to involve some well-meaning people in the south/west geo-political zone of the country.
The supporters club on Tuesday inaugurated an Ibadan based astute businessman, Alhaji Mutiu Oladejo, popularly known as Onimalu as a ‘Goodwill Ambassador’ of the club.
The event which was held at the Heir’s Place, Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba Ibadan was attended by newsmen and the top hierarchy of the club where the businessman was decorated with the paraphernalia of the club.
“Shooting Stars is a global brand, and I’m delighted to accept this responsibility of retuning this club back to the pride of place it occupied before among notable clubs in Africa and beyond.
“I’ll also cultivate support for the team from my fellow business associates and friends by coming to motivate the team during their home matches, by this I’m sure the boys will give their best and return 3SC back to elite cadre this season” Onimalu noted.
