Hope Democratic Party in Osun State has urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to publish the state’s voters’ figures and comprehensive list of polling units in the state for the forthcoming governorship election.
This was contained in a press release issued and signed by the party’s Secretary, Mr. Adelowo Quadri and the party’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Olusegun Dada in Osogbo over the weekend.
It would be recalled that INEC before the last 2014 governorship election had earlier published voters list and an information kits aim at informing, educating and assisting political parties, stakeholder and voters on the election issues and polling units in the state.
According to Mr. Olusegun Dada “the 2014 information kit is now outdated and the overall voters’ figures has also advanced numerically. INEC should update them for public assessment”.
