Super Eagles striker, Henry Onyekuru, is delighted to win his first game in the colours of new Turkish club, Galatasaray following Thursday’s 3-0 pre-season friendly victory against Sakaryaspor.
Onyekuru’s two previous games for Galatasaray against Dutch club, PSV Eindhoven and Spanish outfit Valencia ended in 3-1 and 2-1 defeats respectively.
He scored his first goal for the Turkish champions in the game against Valencia.
The striker was handed a starting role for the first time against Sakaryaspor on Wednesday and he provided a beautiful assist for Mugdat Celik’s opening goal in the 3-0 win.
“Always good to get the winning feeling back. Preseason is going well #thankful,” reads a tweet on his Twitter handle.
Onyekuru is on loan at Galatasaray from English Premier League side, Everton.
