- Releases Congresses Guidelines
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has announced that it would give out free forms to female and physically challenged aspirants during its forthcoming ward, local and state congresses.
This announcement was contained in the guidelines for the conduct of the forthcoming congresses released on Saturday by the party’s national headquarters.
The release further disclosed that the prescribed fees of five hundred naira (N500.00), one thousand naira (N1000.00) and five thousand naira (N5000.00) is expected to be paid for the application form by aspirants contesting at ward, local government and state levels respectively not later than 72 hours to the respective congresses.
The guidelines also appealed to all the relevant committees set up to monitor the conduct of the congresses to ensure equal opportunity for every member of the party who are qualified to vote and be voted for irrespective of age, religion and gender.
The ward and local government congresses of the party have been slated for 7th and 8th of August, 2018, while the state congress will be holding on 11th of August, 2018.
