In a move that looks as if Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki may be in for a more challenging season, the senator representing Akwa Ibom North West Senatorial District, Senator Godswill Akpabio has resigned as the Minority Leader of the 8th Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

This according to observers has placed President Muhammadu Buhari and his ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the political game being played with Senator Saraki who has refused to quit his position as Senate President despite jettisoning APC for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
