In apparent reaction to the rumour making the rounds that a member of the House of Representatives from Oyo State, Hon Dapo Lam-Adesina owns a popular event centre, Daylan Events Centre, the owners have shed more light.
According to Dr Adesina Adegunle, the representative of the owners who spoke with PMParrot on Tuesday evening, the event centre is owned by a group of investors.
Adegunle said “It came as a surprise to us when we got to hear the news that Daylan Events and Conference Center is owned by Honourable Dapo Lam-Adesina got to us.
“When people started saying this, it got us surprised. The rumour started probably because of the way the sign board we have by the entrance was written. Anyone who first glances at the sign may read Daplam instead of Daylan.
“I want to state clearly here that the business is owned by some investors based in the United States of America and Nigeria. The business is owned 100 per cent by these people and I am their representative here in Ibadan.
“Kindly permit me to plead with our people to always confirm pieces of information before spreading them.”
