Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress on Thursday evening led the party’s stakeholders from the South West to a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.
The meeting which was held inside the First Lady Conference Hall inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja started at about 8.30pm.
Our correspondent learnt that the September 22 governorship election in Osun State was top on the agenda of the meeting.
Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo and the National Chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomhole also attended the meeting.
Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola; Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi and Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, equally attended. Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Gandoje, who is the chairman of the Osun State governorship campaign committee also attended.
