The candidate for the Ife North State constituency in the Osun State House of Assembly under the umbrella of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Akinyode Abidemi Oyewusi has congratulated the people of Ipetumodu and environs on the occasion of the annual Ipetumodu Day celebration.
Oyewusi expressed appreciation to the elders, leaders and the entire people of Ipetumodu, Asipa/Akinlalu, Famia, Oyere, Moro, Edunabon, Yakoyo and other neighbouring towns for their love and commitment towards ensuring peaceful coexistence.
According to Prince Oyewusi, “Today, I realised the meaning of true love. It is Ipetumodu Day but constituents from Asipa/Akinlalu, Famia, Oyere, Moro, Edunabon, Yakoyo and other neighbouring towns showed me true love. I must confess, this love is overwhelming and I pledge never to let you down.
“I thank all constituents, elders, leaders and party members from various political parties in Ife North State Constituency for the love you all showed today. I want to assure you that I have a clear understanding of trust and service. You have displayed your trust in me today, I assure and pledge that when you all eventually elect me as your representative in the Osun State House of Assembly, I will display the true meaning of service to you and constituency at large.”
The youthful politician promised to use his capacity to engineer further development in the constituency, “I have been doing it before now but your votes will extend my capacity to further engineer the development of Ife North State Constituency.
Meanwhile, Prince Akinyode Oyewusi has also sent a congratulatory message to the winners of Ipetumodu Day Football Competition, a soccer tournament organized by Prince Akinyode Abidemi Oyewusi (PAAO) Foundation to commemorate this year’s celebration.
“This is to congratulate the winning team, Future Star Football Club and all teams that participated in the competition. You are all winners.
“This is just the beginning, as I will continue to empower our hardworking youths through sports and skill acquisition programmes. I will also open up Ife North State Constituency for global opportunities which will be highly beneficial to youths and all constituents,” Oyewusi said.
