Italian Serie A side,Torino have been so impressed with Super Eagles defender, Ola Aina that they could launch a €10 million offer to sign him permanently from English Premier League side, Chelsea in January.
According to reports from Tuttosport, as cited on Calciomercato, Walter Mazzarri’s side have been taken back by the Nigerian international and the way he has adapted to life in Italy.
Aina linked up with Walter Mazzari’s men on a one-year loan deal with an option to buy the player permanently for €10 million from Chelsea in August and has impressed during his stay at the club.
He was voted man-of-the-match in Torino’s penultimate league clash against Fiorentina which ended in a 1-1 draw.
The 22-year-old earned a game rating of 8.0, completing 77% of his passes, making 2 key passes and hitting the woodwork once in the game.
The energetic wing-back has impressed during the first half of the season and has clearly done enough to convince the Italian outfit.
Aina has featured in all of Torino’s 10 league games this season, with seven starts and three substitute appearance.
It is yet to be seen if the player has a future at Stamford Bridge and the lure of regular first-team football could be too good to turn down for Aina.
