Yemisi Bamgbose, Ex-RATTAWU Boss Becomes Permanent Secretary In Ogun

A former National President of Radio, Television, Theatre and Art Workers Union of Nigeria (RATTAWU), Dr Oluyemisi Bamgbose has become a Permanent Secretary in the Ogun Ogun State civil service.

Bamgbose until his appointment was a Director in the Ministry of Information and Strategy.

His appointment was announced by the Permanent Secretary, Bureau of Service Matters, Office of the Head of Service, Mrs Modupeola Bosede, on Wednesday Bamgbose’s appointment takes immediate effect.

The newly appointed PS started his career as a Production Assistant with the Ogun State Television (OGTV) in 1983, rose through the ranks to become Assistant General Manager and was recently transferred to the mainstream of the Civil Service.

The new Permanent Secretary holds a Doctorate Degree (PhD) in Applied Psychology, Masters in Personnel Psychology and Bachelor of Science Degree (B. Ed) in Guidance & Counselling/Social from the Ogun State University (now Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye) in 2014, 2003 and 1998 respectively.

He is an associate member of the Advertising Practitioners of Nigeria (APCON).
