As the 2019 general election draws nearer in the country, Prince Adedayo Adeyeye, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Ekiti South Senatorial District and Honourable Femi Bamisile, the House of Representatives Candidate for the Ekiti South Federal Constituency 2 have met with leaders of their party from all the 32 Wards in the three (3) Local Government Areas that make up the Federal Constituency.

According to PMParrot’s sources at the meeting, the meeting was specifically scheduled to discuss the strategies to adopt and use in confronting the main opposition in the State which is the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). Moreso that Senator Abiodun Olujimi, one of the strongest pillars and the current leader of the People’s Democratic Party in the Southwest at the moment has again been given PDP’s Senatorial ticket for the Zone to re-contest in the 2019 National Assembly Elections in the State.

This, according to our sources is the reason for a joint force and coalition being led by Prince Adedayo Adeyeye and Honourable Femi Bamisile, a former House of Assembly Speaker. The two Candidates assured the Party Leaders of the best dividend of Democracy and Developmental Projects the Constituency has never gotten since 1999 if they are voted in come 2019.

While giving his remarks at the meeting, the State Chairman of APC in Ekiti State, Barrister Paul Omotoso declared total support for both Prince Adedayo Adeyeye and Rt. Hon. Femi Bamisile’s candidatures and vowed to silent the PDP permanently in the Senatorial District and Ekiti State as a whole. Omotoso therefore openly declared at the meeting that the era of political grandstanding by PDP is over in Ekiti State.
