The gubernatorial Candidate of the African Democratic Congress in Oyo State, Senator Olufemi Lanlehin has promised the people of Oluyole Local Government that his administration will return all the hijacked farms stolen by the current administration in the state if voted in as the Governor of the State during next month’s general election.
Lanlehin in his addressed during the ADC rally held on Thursday, 10th January, 2019, maintained that his administration will ensure that the people of the local government enjoy the dividends of democracy by giving them sense of belonging.
“Unlike the current administration in the state which doesn’t respect the tradition and culture of the land, I will respect all the traditional rulers in the state and accord respect to them according to their status, our government shall be the government of the people and not a dictatorship government that will administer hardship on the people of the state.
“I will alleviate hardship placed on the butchers by bringing a well-equipped Abattoir close to the people of the local government for convenience purpose and usefulness of our people.”
Senator Lanlehin also maintained that his administration would make sure it invests on education, as education remains “the only way to build a better future for our children. The Technical College, Ikija under Oluyole Local Government will be well equipped for the use of our technical students and that will help our state in producing the best among all other states”.
He, however, called on the good people of Oluyole Local Government to vote for all the candidates of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) during 2019 general elections, saying that it is the best way to get more dividend of democracy, adding that “some of them have been representing you and we can see they have performed excellently as your legislatures”.
Some of the ADC chieftains present at the rally included Oyo State ADC Chairman, Alhaji Hameed Ayinla, Member, House of Representatives, representing Oluyole Federal Constituency and ADC candidate, Hon. Olusunbo Olugbemi, Hon. Akeem Ige, Hon. Fatai Adesina, Hon. Segun Olaleye, Hon. Ibraheem Salami (Dikko), Hon Ladi Oluokun and some other party enthusiasts.
