The wife of Ekiti State Governor, Erelu Bisi Fayemi has assured that Southwest women and youths will vote massively for President Mohammadu Bihari and his Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo in the forthcoming February 16th, 2019 Presidential election.
She added that the people of the Southwest, especially, women and youths have come to realize that re-electing President Buhari Muhammadu guarantees four more years of progress and meaningful development for the nation.
Erelu Bisi Fayemi made these submissions recently while addressing the Women for the All Progressive Congress Movement (APCM) at a zonal rally organised to strategize, campaign and secure massive votes for the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari and his Vice, Professor Yemi Osinbajo held at the Government House, Alausa in Ikeja, Lagos State.
The zonal rally was well attended by all the first ladies in the Southwest, the State Women leaders as well as regional and national leaders in the southwest among others.
The meeting was held as part of the efforts of realising the 4+4 campaign slogan agenda of the Buhari/Osinbajo 2019 second term joint ticket.
Erelu Bisi Fayemi stressed that the Lagos meeting was held to plan and strategize towards the reelection of President Mohammadu Buhari and his vice, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.
Said Erelu “On Jan 19th, 2019; there is going to be a zonal rally in the Southwest. We will all mobilize delegates from the respective states and show our support for President Buhari and to let him know that in all the six states of the southwest, he can count on our votes in very significant numbers.
“Nigerian women are going forward to the next level, we are not going backwards and we are here as women of the APC to say four more years of President Buhari is equal to four more years of progress and development for our nation”, she concluded.
