Presidency: How Johnson Edosomwan Plans To Transform Nigeria

The presidential candidate of Nigeria Democratic Congress Party, (NDCP) Dr. Johnson Edosomwan says his main aim of vying for presidency is to unify and transform Nigeria into a world class democratic nation.

The Edo State born entrepreneur and innovator, who is planning to storm Osogbo, the Osun State capital on Monday for NDCP presidential campaign, stated that if elected into office, his government would turn Nigeria into a world class nation where its citizens will contribute and live in a peaceful environment free of corruption, violence and tribalism.

“My vision is to unify and transform Nigeria into a world class democratic nation where citizen contribute and lives peacefully in safe and ensure communities are free from corruption, poverty, violence, regionalism, and tribalism.

“A modern nation that provides access to jobs, clean water, electricity, infrastructure, education and health care, into a forward looking nation whose multidimensional and robust economy eagerly awaits the coming technology age, and into a prosperous nation that will make our citizen and creator proud,” Dr. Edosomwan said.

Speaking further, Dr. Edosomwan, who several institutions named Centers, Institutes and Awards in his name because of his accomplishments and work, said his government would diversify the country’s economy, as Nigeria would earn more from other sources rather than just crude oil sales and also focus on infrastructure development, human capital enhancement, job creation, among others.

Dr. Edosomwan is the recipient of over 175 awards, honors, and citations for contributions to several disciplines, fields, businesses and industrial sectors. He has also received academic scholarships, fellowships, business and professional awards for contributions to business, technology, engineering, quality, productivity, and innovations. He is credited to be the first to integrate productivity and quality improvement systems, credited for being the first to integration innovation and technology management, credited to be the developer of the EBAT® criteria and much more.

Dr. Edosomwan, who is the author and editor of 68 books, 210 training manuals, and 310 papers, has published several books and several academic disciplines and developer of 425 performance improvement tools and techniques.

His generosity spans several countries helping individuals, institutions, and organizations to improve quality of life.
