Ahead of the 2019 general elections, the Oyo State chapter of the African Peoples Alliance (APA) Party has unveiled Ibrahim Aliyu Hassan as the Presidential candidate of the party.

While unveiling Ibrahim Aliyu Hassan as the party’s presidential candidate, the Party’s gubernatorial candidate in the state, Deacon Tolulope Adedoyin urged Nigerians to look out for candidates who are competent with good character and moral standing. According to him, “The momentum Nigeria has gathered is important but the future targets are more important. APA wants to make our country one of the largest 10 economies by 2023”.

“We also reaffirm our party commitment to the People’s Cause which is one of the most important mainstays of the survival struggle,” he added.

It is on record that the Oyo state Chapter of the party gave the party huge and highest votes in 2015 presidential election which made the party came third. It is also on record that the chapter won her first ever election at the last year Oyo State Councillor-ship poll but her mandate was stolen by the current administration in the state.
