Oyo Government To Clamp Down On Illegal Outdoor Advert Facilities

0

Senator Abiola Ajimobi’s government in Oyo State has announced that it will from next week Monday commence massive clampdown on illegal billboards, posters and advertisement flexes debasing public space across the state in line with its urban beautification policy.

The new Director General of the Oyo State Signage and Advertisement Agency (OYSAA), Pastor Tayo Olorunsola stated this in a press statement issued at the state secretariat on Wednesday.

While frowning at political parties’ candidates and other stakeholders for continually flouting extant laws of the agency, the Director General warned that defaulters would be made to face full wrath of the law henceforth as the flexes on their structures would be removed and confiscated.

Stakeholders who were also indebted to the agency have been implored to fulfill their obligations in payment of outstanding dues and levies.
