Senator Smart Adeyemi, the All Progressive Congress (APC) senatorial candidate for Kogi West in the forthcoming election, over the weekend welcomed Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo to Kogi state.
The Vice President who was on a one day visit to the state for the Next Level campaign and Family Chats was received by Senator Smart and other APC candidates at Kabba.
At the palace of the Obaro of Kabba, His Royal Majesty; Oba Solomon Owoniyi, the Vice President highlights the Next Level plan of the Muhammadu Buhari administration.
While calling for the support of the monarch who is also the Chairman, Okun Traditional Council, the Vice President emphasises the need for the people of the kingdom to support the efforts of the Buhari-led adminstration in order for them to enjoy more meaningful programmes.
At the Kabba Central Market the Vice President was received by hundreds of teeming supporters who were very excited to see him.
Professor Osinbajo later proceeded to the Kogi state Government House in Okenne, where he had audience with the state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
