Street Trader Dies In Alesinloye Ibadan Accident, Three Injured, See Images

An auto accident involving a Nissan Micra taxicab, an articulated vehicle laden with a container and another one ferrying petrol has been recorded in Alesinloye Junction in Iyaganku Area of Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State claiming at least a life.

Our reporter who stumbled on the accident said it occurred about 4 pm adding that about three other people were injured. It was caused by the vehicle carrying the container which had a brake failure. It was coming from the direction of Alesinloye Market.

Said the PMParrot reporter “the deceased, a yet to be identified man was one of those selling their wares on the road. The Micra taxi that can be seen in the image had five people but nobody died. The driver and one lady in the vehicle did not have a scratch while the remaining three who sustained different degrees of injuries have since been taken to the hospital.”

We gathered that firemen drafted from the State Secretariat are still at the scene keeping an eye on the fuel-laden articulated vehicle.
