Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo has ended speculation about his future after completing his move from relegated side, Changchun Yatai to another Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua.
The future of the Nigeria international has been the subject of speculation in recent months following the demotion of
Changchun Yatai from the Chinese topflight, and he was heavily courted by clubs in Turkey before deciding to continue his career in China as the interested teams failed to meet his wage demands.
Ighalo will reunite with his former Watford coach, Quique Sánchez Flores at Shanghai Greenland Shenhua, who had been in the market for a proven goalscorer after Demba Ba terminated his contract by mutual consent a month ago.
Ighalo has put pen to paper on a three-year deal with Shanghai Greenland Shenhua which will keep him at the club until the end of the 2021 season.
Ighalo who has been linked with a move back to Europe during the winter break finally signed the dotted lines on Wednesday at Shanghai.
The Super Eagles forward will reunite with his Former Watford Manager, Flores Sanchez at Shanghai.
For the upcoming season, Ighalo, who started training with his new teammates on Thursday, will wear the number nine jersey.
