The Super Eagles Supporter Club has pledged to be fully part of a befitting burial for the late Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi who died on Monday February 11, 2019.
The football icon’s final home going proceedings will take place between 13th and 15th March in Ibadan.
The wife of the deceased received the delegation that was led by the Chairman of Oyo State chapter of the body Engr. Laaro Zubair who represented its national boss, Prince Vincent Okumagba who condoled with the Ogunjobi family over the irreparable loss.
While lamenting the passage of the ex-international footballer, Okumagba pointed out that the late Ogunjobi left behind good legacies for the football family. “We join other Nigerians in mourning the passing on to eternal glory of the former NFF scribe”.
He, however, promised the support of the supporters club in giving the late Osun FA boss a colourful and befitting burial by being on ground throughout the 3-day burial procession to gyrate and entertain well-wishers in the usual football supporters’ characteristics.
While responding, one of the sons of the deceased, Lanre Ogunjobi thanked the supporters club for deeming it fit to visit and condole with the family while expressing their appreciation to all the football fraternity in the country for immense and immeasurable support received towards giving their beloved a befitting burial.
